Editorial standards
This page explains how MintUp is made : how we choose methods, where our figures come from, how often we update, and how we make sure money (advertising, affiliate links) never dictates our content. It’s our quality commitment — and the best way to judge whether you can trust us.
How we select methods
A method only makes it into MintUp if it ticks four boxes :
- Accessible — doable by a motivated beginner, with no rare qualification or large mandatory capital.
- Legal and serious — no pyramid schemes, no “easy money,” no guaranteed-earnings promises. High-risk activities are labelled as such.
- Realistic potential — an achievable income is documented, with its limits, rather than an exceptional case presented as the norm.
- Independent of commission — we include methods that earn us nothing (second-hand resale, off-platform work) whenever they’re useful.
Where our figures come from
All amounts (income, rates, starting capital, timelines) are indicative estimates given as ranges. We build them from platforms’ public pricing, market price levels, and the direct experience of the editorial team. These figures vary widely by niche, country, positioning and consistency : treat them as benchmarks to decide with, not guarantees. When a data point depends on an official threshold (for example a platform’s monetisation conditions), we flag that it changes and invite you to check the current source.
Review and updates
Every page is reviewed by at least two people before publishing. We revisit categories regularly, and as a priority whenever a platform changes its rules, rates or conditions. The “Reviewed on” line at the top of each guide shows the date of the last check. The publication director, Rafik MEGOUANI, is accountable for what appears on the site. A page can be old in its general idea but recent in its verification : that date is what counts.
Advertising, affiliate links and content separation
MintUp is free, funded by advertising and affiliate links. We follow one simple rule : money never decides the content.
- Method selection and ranking happen before and independently of any commission consideration.
- Affiliate links are always disclosed on the page concerned.
- An affiliate link changes neither the price nor the conditions for you.
- Advertising is identified as such and kept separate from editorial content.
Our limits
MintUp provides general information, not personalised advice. We don’t know your situation : a choice that suits one person can be a mistake for another. On financial and tax topics in particular, rules depend on your country and change over time ; refer to official sources and, where needed, a licensed professional. All investing carries a risk of losing capital.
Report an error
We care about the reliability of every page. If you spot outdated, imprecise or wrong information, email us at contact@mintup.blog or use the Contact page. Every founded report triggers a correction and a fresh verification date.
